Wreck Yourself Wednesday 2/27/08
WYW got somewhat of a makeover this week. I was able to locate a 330lb tire and some weights (Thanks Toby!). Circuit intervals were experimented with as well.Your WYW Summary:
Warm-up run and stretching, 15 minutes.
10 minute circuit of 10 exercises (1 min/ea.), 4 complete circuits, 1 minute rests were taken every 5 exercises (there was some deviation with the work/rest schedule but we will get it right next time).
Bucket Carry
“South of Heaven”
Two handed kettlebell swing, 35lb men, 26lb women
“Flesh Storm”
Box Jumps (22″)
Jump Rope
Tire Flip – 330lb.
Clean and Jerk or “The Bear”
“Heart of Stone”
Ab Roller or ”Spin the Biscuit”
Followed by a warm-down run.

Almost half of the attendees were women. Nice!
The tire is the best thing ever.
It should also be noted that only four of us did the warm-up run, and only Kostas and I carried the torch on the warm-down run.
Can’t believe we have not had a tire before. I can get a bigger one anytime.
There’s nothing like “free” weights, right?
