Nice go!

A friend and I were going to give it a go starting on the 16th. I hiked food and gear in to Lamarck Col and came back out to meet friend, we chose to bail on the plan 'cause there was a solid forecast for rain/snow that would have hit late on our second day on the route. We considered doing just Darwin but elected to just retrieve the cache and head for Yosemite.

Awesome that y'all got all the way in, our plan allowed for carrying in a bit more food for base camp and a full day to rest before starting the route proper and then much lighter climbing packs -- woulda gone but I'll be back to give it another go.

Met you and Scotty on the Palisades Traverse last Sep (we shared raps). Thanks for the write-up & pics, and good effort. Much food for thought. Moving to Bishop for the summer to climb and am researching Evolution. Planning to check out various segments before the big push. PM me on summitpost if you want recon beta/photos.

Nice! Thanks for the beta and psych. Seems like the routefinding is the hardest part of these things, eh?
